Pelvic Health Is For Everyone

"The real key is to perceive what you're doing. I really can't teach you, but I can help you focus on your awareness so that you can discover what you're doing. Then you have a choice..."

- Bonnie Bainbridge-Cohen

Dr. Mukta Chauhan is one of the few PTs in the country with a double board certification in orthopedics and women’s health.

Because of this dual training, Dr. Mukta understands the delicate interplay between neurophysiology, biomechanics, musculoskeletal, fascial and organ systems and their combined contribution to a person’s overall wellbeing. She is a firm believer in addressing health from a bio-psycho-social perspective, because we aren’t just our tissues. The whole person is at the center of her practice. Her extensive training provides her a unique opportunity to create an individualized treatment program for the most optimal outcome for her patients.

She is also a huge advocate of women’s/men’s health and believes in an ongoing learning and is an active member of Women’s section of APTA, ISSWSH and Global Pelvic Health Alliance. She regularly participates in community education to raise awareness about pelvic health.
